2018 Fall Festivals

Posted On: 08/27/2018

Fall is right around the corner. Here are the best festivals to celebrate it!

New England is infamous for its seasons. You know — crisp weather, red and orange leaves, hats, scarves, sweaters, and more. While it means the end of summer, there’s no reason to be sad. There are plenty of cozy and family-friendly festivals and events perfect for welcoming in autumn. Grab your friends and family, some hot chocolate, and plan your next weekend in New England!

First, Newburyport Music Festival is a world-famous festival that takes place at the beginning of every fall. This year, the music festival takes place from September 1st until the 12th, and from 12 to 6pm. Located on Riverfront Festival, there will be world-class live music, food vendors, a beer garden, and more. What better place to celebrate the end of summer and start of fall than in beautiful Newburyport?

Second, from September 1st until the 3rd, Spencer Fair is taking place in Spencer, Massachusetts. This festival has all the best parts of a traditional country fair — horse and tractor pulls, farm exhibits, animals, giant pumpkins, carnival rides and games, live music, a demolition derby, and so much more. You can book your tickets now online, with special discounts for children, senior citizens, and members of the military.

Finally, if you’re looking to spend some time in the big city, Boston’s annual Night Market is fast approaching. On September 8th from 4 to 10pm, this night time bazaar, inspired by those of East Asia, will bring together the people, food, art, and entertainment of Boston. This festival is all about celebrating local culture, and a variety of experiences, with shops closing late, a beer garden, a variety of games and other activities. Tickets are available now!
