Boston is a cosmopolitan city, with a hugely diverse population. This means the city has a vibrant arts scene, from its music, theatre, visual arts, and more. Every year, Boston’s finest creators, craftsmen, and performers come together in a weekend-long event, showcasing their talents. This year’s Boston Arts Festival is taking place Saturday September 7th to Sunday the 8th. Here’s everything you need to know.
Starting each weekend day at 11 am, this completely free event takes place at Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park. From high-end craft work to painting, ceramics, photography, sculpture, and jewelry, visitors get the chance to chat with and buy from local artisans, supporting Boston arts.
This event is free of charge for all ages, and is both completely wheelchair and stroller accessible. Seeing as it takes place outside, the Boston Arts Festival is also dog-friendly, and its wide range of activities makes it suitable for adults and kids of all ages.
