If you’re lucky enough to find yourself in Boston this summer, GO has made a short guide to July’s best events for you. Whether you’re in town for business or leisure, these festivals and performances are a must-visit.
The beginning of July marks one of Boston’s, and the country’s, biggest celebrations, and there’s no better city to spend the 4th of July. Boston’s Independence Day is unlike any other. Join hundreds of thousands of visitors along the Charles River for the annual 4th of July Pops Concert and Fireworks Spectacular. Bring blankets, a picnic basket and refreshments as you cozy up with your friends and family along the grassy Esplanade for a presentation of orchestral classics, real cannon fire and one of the best firework displays in the world.
If you can’t squeeze along the Charles, don’t sweat it. The Boston Harborfest is also a great way to spend your Independence Day! This five day festival is packed with hundreds of events, many free or very affordable. This annual event sees millions of people each year from all over the world. Check out the festival’s website for more information.
A great way to spend any of the summer months is at a Red Sox game. Join the fanatic crowds at the most famous baseball stadium in the world! No trip to Beantown is complete without a visit to this institution, so pack your cap, sunscreen and family and friends to catch a game.
Enjoy your July in Boston! As always, book your transportation needs in advance with GO Boston shuttle. We have a fleet that accommodate any size or occasion, to make sure that you arrive to and from your destination in style and comfort.
